Grow vibrant and flavour-packed microgreens with D.T. Brown Beetroot Bulls Blood Seeds. Known for their striking deep red stems and leaves, Bulls Blood microgreens add bold colour and an earthy flavour to salads, sandwiches and garnishes. This variety is ideal for indoor growing and produces attractive nutrient-rich shoots ready to harvest in just a few weeks. Product Features Produces stunning deep red microgreens Earthy beetroot flavour perfect for salads and garnishes Fast-growing and easy to cultivate indoors Ideal for windowsills and kitchen growing Approximately 600 seeds per pack Excellent colour and texture for culinary use Growing Instructions Preparation Place a growing mat such as hemp, coconut fibre or felt into a shallow microgreen tray. Watering Moisten the growing medium thoroughly, ensuring it is damp but without standing water in the tray. Sowing Spread the 600 seeds evenly across the surface. Beetroot seeds are larger and irregularly shaped, so ensure they have good contact with the moist growing medium. Do not cover the seeds. Germination Keep the tray covered for the first 34 days. Bulls Blood benefits from a little extra darkness during early germination to help the roots establish properly. Light & Water After germination, move the tray to a bright location to encourage the rich red colouring. Water directly onto the growing medium to keep the leaves dry. Harvesting Microgreens are ready to harvest after approximately 1621 days. Cut the shoots at the base using sharp scissors. Specifications Brand: D.T.
